Microblading is the technique of ecthing fine hair-like strokes into the eyebrows to appear like natural brow hair. Although Microblading is referred to as semi-permanent, it is Permanent Makeup, and it is essentially a Tattoo.
The fine strokes are placed into the upper dermis of the skin, not as deeply as a traditional tattoo. Our skin renews itself every 28 days, so the microbladed lines will eventually fade with cell renewal. The pigment starts to fade away from 12 - 18 months before requiring a touch up.
